Uses
Corticosteroids suppress inflammation, which can reduce the signs and symptoms of inflammatory conditions, such as atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis or other inflammatory skin conditions. If effective, the benefits can last approximately one month.

Side Effects
Redness or pain at the injection site, stomach upset, headache, dizziness, menstrual period changes, trouble sleeping, weight gain, or subcutaneous tissue atrophy may occur. Atrophy or “dimpling” usually improves with time but can be permanent. Very serious allergic reactions to this drug are unlikely and require immediate medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching, swelling (especially of the face,tongue,throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
